ArrivaClick has branded three of its EVM Low Floor Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 516CDi minibuses in the Pride flag colours ahead of the Liverpool Pride event on Saturday 27th July 2019.

Pride in Liverpool takes to the streets of Liverpool on Saturday 27th July 2019. To join in the celebrations, Arriva North West has branded three of its ArrivaClick minibuses that are used on the demand-responsive ridesharing minibus service.

The ArrivaClick minibuses complement the Arriva Rainbow liveried Alexander Dennis Enviro400s that were specially painted last year as part of the 2018 celebrations.

ArrivaClick was launched in Liverpool back in August 2018, initially with just six vehicles operating between 6:30am in the morning to start and finish by 7pm.

The operating hours were improved in December 2018 to 6am through to midnight Monday to Saturday, and 6am until 10pm on Sundays. With fares starting at just £1 per mile, ArrivaClick is ideal for anyone looking for reasonably priced, convenient public transport throughout the city.

Organisers of Pride in Liverpool 2019, the LCR Pride Foundation, are aiming to make this year’s event an even bigger success as it commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising in New York.

In 1969 member’s of New York’s gay community took part in a number of spontaneous demonstrations against a police raid at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighbourhood of Manhattan.

This year, Pride in Liverpool is also focusing on the recent homophobic attacks in Liverpool, and are urging the city’s LGBT+ community, allies and supporters to take part on Saturday, 28th July 2019, and deliver the message that it has never been more important to “come together and shout down hatred”.

Festival-goers are also invited to March with Pride along the traditional route from St George’s Hall, finishing at Moorfields. Individuals, groups and companies can register to march online by clicking here.
