The Big Beer Bus Tour in Wrexham and Chester

Nightingale House Hospice in conjunction with Arriva Buses Wales are hosting The Big Bus Beer Tour on the 23rd September 2017. It starts from around 11am until the last bus service or last orders at the pub.

Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, completely free-of-charge to its patients and their families across a wide area stretching all over North Wales and onwards to the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch.

The hospice actively raises funds with a jam-packed event timetable throughout the year. These come in the form of raffles and auctions, sponsored skydiving, the popular duck race on the River Dee and not to mention The Big Bus Beer Tour. See their events calendar here.

The fee for early bird wristbands are priced at £4 per person, this will enable participants to enjoy a day’s free travel on the Arriva Buses Wales Sapphire 1 bus service that operates between Wrexham and Chester. The fee will increase to £6.50 per person from the 1st September so buy your wristbands early to take advantage of this fantastic offer.

Pubs and establishments along the route will be laying on special offers on food and/or drink for paying participants, simply show your wristband to the bar staff to claim your discounts. There will be special craft ales brewed for the event, along with special food menus and even a raffle too.

Confirmed pubs that are taking part are as follows, The Nags Head, The Wynnstay, The Bank Bar, The Ironworks, Saith Seren, The Elihu Yale, Set the Bar, The Acton, The Plough, The Red Lion, The Trevor Arms, The Alyn, The Golden Lion, The Nags Head Lavister, The Saddle Inn, The Olde Queens Head, The Square Bottle and Brewhouse and Kitchen Chester.

When you sign up, you will receive a welcome letter, a pack with a map of pubs with offers as well as your wristband and free days bus pass. You are free to take part and enjoy the delights on offer, there is also optional sponsorship available if you feel like you can visit each official stop.
