On the 2nd and 3rd October 2019, Belkommunmash (BKM Holding) took part in the large specialised Coach and Bus UK exhibition in Birmingham.
At Coach & Bus UK 2019, BKM Holding, it showcased its right-hand drive E4200Р electric bus, one of the latest developments of BKM Holding. This electric bus was produced specifically for countries with left-hand traffic.
Within the framework of the exhibition, experts and management of BKM Holding held a series of negotiations with representatives of transport operators and transport departments of the cities of England. In addition, the stand of BKM Holding was visited by a delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Sergey Fedorovich Aleinik.
The striking 12-metre BKM E4200P is a two-axle low-floor vehicle, equipped with the supercapacitors enable to overcome the route length, and is charged at bus route terminals. BKM is aware of high-quality specifications from Western bus operators, with that, the variations of internal layout and accessories list are quite extensive. One thing that may put UK operators off is the provision of a partition between driver’s cab and passenger compartment, while glazed, it does have a gap for ticket sales.
At the end of the exhibition, the electric bus will be deployed in Nottingham with CT4N for a 3-month trial. The former Minister of State for Trade Policy George Hollingbery during his visit to Belarus in June 2019 personally tested Belarusian E-bus and expressed this opinion – you can watch this short video-report for more information.
BKM Holding is the first manufacturer of passenger electric vehicles from the CIS countries, which announced itself on the UK market. The participation of BKM Holding in this exhibition promotes the company’s products on the UK market and enhances brand awareness in Western Europe.
