Just over two years into his new venture as a bus and coach operator, Garreth McAllister-Partridge, owner and boss of Warrington based MP Travel, has introduced a new 30-seat, 8.9m Enviro200 to his fast growing fleet.
The latest acquisition, named Marjorie after his 85-year-old grandmother, means that he now has 11 buses and coaches supporting a busy programme of private hires and rail replacement contracts in Manchester, Warrington, Liverpool, Cheshire and across the North West of England.
Garreth, aged 34, who was an operations manager in the bus industry before striking out on his own, commented: “Business is thriving and there is never a minute to spare, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our new 30-seat Enviro200 is perfect for many of the contracts we cover. It is short, highly manoeuvrable, fuel-efficient and has a reputation second to none in the single deck market. It provides an added bonus to the range of vehicles we are able to offer.”
He added: “In this business you definitely need the support of family and it is a privilege to name this vehicle after my grandmother Marjorie.”
MP Travel’s latest addition from Alexander Dennis Limited is powered by a Cummins ISBe four-cylinder 180PS Euro6 engine and Allison S2100 gearbox.
